A meeting was held at the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDC), chaired by the Director General, Eng. Jomana Attyat, and attended by several directors and concerned staff from the Corporation, along with representatives of the Teachers’ Housing Fund.
During the meeting, the participants discussed recent developments related to the allocation of land for teachers, the provision of technical support by HUDC, the review of sales mechanisms, eligibility conditions, and the criteria for evaluating applications. Several recommendations were proposed to broaden the number of teachers benefiting from the program.
Eng. Jomana Attyat affirmed that HUDC will continue providing technical support to the Teachers’ Housing Fund of the Ministry of Education regarding qualification and prioritization mechanisms in accordance with the Fund’s regulations.
The meeting comes as part of implementing the directives of the Prime Minister to allocate 1,039 land plots across various governorates for constructing housing units for teachers through HUDC, offering discounts of up to 50% compared to market prices for similar plots.
