HUDC Holds Workshop on “Concepts of the National Cybersecurity Framework” in Cooperation with the National Cybersecurity Center

The Housing and Urban Development Corporation, HUDC, in cooperation with the National Cybersecurity Center, held an awareness workshop on “Concepts of the National Cybersecurity Framework,” with active participation and attendance from various job and administrative levels and stakeholders within the Corporation.

During the workshop, trainer Eng. Haitham Al-Atyoui from the National Cybersecurity Center explained the aspects related to the pillars that make up the National Cybersecurity Framework, which aims to raise the level of government departments and institutions in this field. These include national awareness, which is considered the first line of defense at the Kingdom level; a focus on education and national excellence, the capabilities that must be developed in any project, monitoring threats on the government network and their impact, and the societal role. He explained that the Center is not the first line of defense for institutions; rather, the institution itself is the first line of defense because it is the most knowledgeable about the nature of its work, the threats it faces, and the means of protecting itself.
