Attyat: HUDC Committed to Its Community Empowerment Role

Coinciding with World and Arab Housing Day on Monday, October 6, 2025, the Housing and Urban Development Corporation conducted a draw to distribute ten commercial kiosks in the Abu Nseir Commercial Market. The kiosks will be leased to citizens with disabilities, humanitarian cases, and low-income individuals, in coordination with the Ministry of Social Development and according to regulations issued by the Corporation’s Board of Directors. This initiative aligns with the Royal directives to provide job opportunities and stems from the Corporation’s developmental and empowering role in encouraging crafts in areas within its project zones.

Eng. Jomana Attyat affirmed that the Corporation remains committed to its community empowerment role and to providing job opportunities for the targeted groups, while continuing to develop the Abu Nseir Commercial Market, which serves as a vital center for the residents of the area.

She added that the Corporation is implementing a commercial center in the Al-Majd Project in Zarqa, aiming to provide all necessary services to the project’s residents and to contribute to creating additional job opportunities across various commercial activities.
