The General Housing and Urban Development Corporation has completed the procedures for documenting the national report on monitoring the implementation of the urban agenda in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and depositing it with the National Library Department. It is worth mentioning that the first national report on the progress of implementing the new urban agenda, which was prepared by the General Housing and Urban Development Corporation with the participation of all concerned government institutions and with the support of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, was presented at the high-level meeting of the United Nations General Assembly under the title "Evaluation of the Urban Agenda" held in New York during 2022. The Corporation is currently preparing the second voluntary report over the next four years in coordination with several relevant entities from both the public and private sectors through the National Committee formed to follow up on the implementation of the agenda, headed by Her Excellency Engineer Jumana Al-Atiyat, Director General of the Corporation.
