Housing and Urban Development Corporation seeks through the National Housing Strategy to achieve its vision and mission which includes enabling the Jordanian citizens to access adequate housing with special emphasis on limited income groups, and to contribute to the national development and develop the housing sector in Jordan through formulating of comprehensive housing policies and activating public private sector partnership.
HUDC is the sole government agency responsible for housing, and the umbrella for the housing sector in Jordan. Through the last 4 decades it implemented 185 project to house over 44 thousands families throughout the Kingdom.
It is an honor for me and my colleagues at HUDC to work on the implementation of the Royal Initiative of his majesty King Abdullah the Second (Decent housing for decent living) Launched on 26th of February 2008 to enable 100 thousand citizens to own a suitable housing in the next 5 years throughout through 4 different implementation tracks, serving the citizen and the country.
